Frethaus: 4th-year Industrial Design Studio

Since 2019, senior industrial design students have had the opportunity to design and build a guitar as their final project. Taking cues from the Bauhaus school of design, this studio is referred to as Frethaus. The whole archive of guitars can be found at: frethaus.org

Meet our Jurors

Kaleidoscope is juried by our Advisory Council. Each room will be assessed and the best projects from each studio will receive a design award. The Advisory Council is made up of the most talented graduates from Auburn’s design programs. While they were here, they dedicated their time to pushing the field of design forward. As professionals, they have excelled as designers.
